Head chef Paul Burrow' s update
from The Olive Tree’s kitchen...

Paul Burrows was appointed head chef at Olive Tree Restaurant in July 2008.

Paul and Laurence first worked together 20 years ago when they met during their traineeship at London’s Savoy Hotel.

Paul has since been a Head Chef here in the UK, Europe and Asia and has had the opportunity to work within a variety of environments from private members clubs to large scale hotel operations.

As well as pursuing a culinary career, Paul took time out and studied for a BA Hon’s degree in English at Oxford University.

In a short period of time, Paul has already made an impact with his contemporary British menu. Building on his classical background, he is passionate about making the best use of all the available west country produce.
