We have created a set of house rules to ensure the safety of customers and staff at The Queensbury.
We hope these rules help to maintain a safe, pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere at the Queensbury.
24 hour CCTV recordings are in operation throughout the premises.
We operate a ZERO Tolerance policy concerning the selling and/or consumption of drugs on the premises.
Any activity will be reported to the police.
All persons who look under the age of 25 will be challenged for ID.
The Queensbury staff will not serve any persons who they believe to be intoxicated or serve anybody believed to be purchasing drinks for an intoxicated person.
Only food and drink purchased at The Queensbury may be consumed on the premises.
Children are not permitted in the bar or garden area after 7pm.
Children are permitted in the restaurant until 10pm if they are dining with a responsible adult. Children must be accompanied at ALL times
No baseball or peaked caps.
A smart/casual dress code is encouraged. Sports attire may be excused for sporting events. Management discretion.
Swearing to be kept to a minimum, preferably not at all.
Dogs are more than welcome in the beer garden. We insist that they are kept on a short lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted inside the pub.
Bicycles are prohibited in the garden. Please chain your bicycle off the property. This is for fire and customer safety.
The minimum transaction for credit/debit card payment is strictly £10.
Physical or verbal abuse of any nature towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated. If this occurs you will be asked to leave and if necessary the police will be called.
All change must be checked immediately as mistakes cannot be rectified after you have left the bar/restaurant.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside The Queensbury and on the top stairway leading to the front door. Please note this includes electronic cigarettes.
Body and bag searched may be conducted at random.
